Mr. Asvar’s practice is focused on brain injury and catastrophic injury litigation in both civil and workers' compensation arenas.
He received his Bachelors in Science from UC Davis, with minors in English and Political Science. He was an undergraduate researcher at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at NIH and is a named author on several scientific publications. Mr. Asvar received his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers in multiple years, with the distinction of being named so as both a civil plaintiff’s attorneys, as well as, an applicant attorney in the worker’s compensation.
Mr. Asvar has achieved multiple multi-million-dollar settlements and awards in civil and work comp litigation. He first broke both the California and the national records for the highest known workers’ compensation award in 2012 for a young client with a mild traumatic brain injury. That record held until 2017 when Asvar Law broke it again, this time with a $10 million award, setting a new Workers’ Comp record in California and in the nation.
Mr. Asvar has successfully argued before the California Court of Appeal to expand California workers’ right to compensation. He is a proud Angelino, and a father of two.
